The Postgraduate Certificate in Property Practice (PGCertPropPrac) is a short qualification that will enable non-Property graduates to build their business capabilities and equip themselves to enter or progress a career in property. You can choose from three pathways in this 60-point programme: the Valuation specialisation, the Property Management specialisation and a General pathway. The specialist pathways are suited to non-Property graduates with work experience who have focused educational goals. They also suit those with overseas experience seeking a New Zealand-specific context to their learning. The pathways are designed to develop a strong set of advanced capabilities in property theory and practice that will enable you to succeed across a wide range of property industry roles. These inlcude property valuer, property manager, developer, commercial sales broker or leasing agent. Students usually complete the programme over 6 months (30 points per quarter) or 12 months (15 points per quarter). The PGCertPropPrac also provides a qualifying pathway to the for graduates who do not meet the GPA for direct admission to the programme.
